dream (my ministry)

sweet lost water of childhood burning
guts spinning with sirens
bright yellow trucks in reverse
shrieks of blame stir gravel

handcuffs on the irascible saviour
inferno-eyed authorities

they sweat it out in morbid fissions
rope it off in nuclear yellow

hear the bacon-pop of toxic rainbows
swim in metallic prosecution

a flaming dreamscape rips

i am a turncoat minister
seated with imprisoned family
green and gold approximations of food
in a convention of shiny-dressed idealogues

bread puffs into a menacing bird of prey
i drown it in a brilliant metal broth

moved to smile in unison

into prayer breakfast judgement
"you're no minister!" a chill shouts

until extinguished
